Timothy Murphy, MD, PC
The third generation in his family to practice obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Timothy Murphy provides personalized health care to each of his patients. The father of four adheres to a small medical practice philosophy. As a result, his patients rarely experience the uncertainty of being treated by an unfamiliar physician. Dr. Murphy takes great pleasure in getting to know his clientele. Whether he is delivering a baby, performing surgery, or supplying emergency treatment, Timothy F. Murphy, MD, remains focused on his patients’ comfort.
Drawing on more than two decades of clinical experience, Dr. Timothy Murphy offers a full slate of services at Ludington Women's Health, which is conveniently located next to Memorial Medical Center of West Michigan. With certifications from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, he is qualified to carry out numerous gynecologic surgeries, including endometrial ablations, laparoscopies, and hysterectomies, among others. He possesses experience managing pregnancies classified as routine and high-risk. In his well-equipped office, Dr. Murphy maintains the capability to perform ultrasounds and gynecologic procedures, such as colposcopies.
In recent years, Dr. Timothy Murphy’s commitment to his patients has been recognized by the health care industry. In 2008, he won the Quality Award for patient satisfaction and clinical office quality from Priority Health, the Michigan health insurance company.
Timothy F. Murphy, MD, opened his first independent practice in Grand Rapids in 1992. He recently moved his office to Ludington to raise his children in his wife’s hometown. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he and his wife enjoy watching their children play sports.
