Maloney Real Estate
James Maloney Jr. has run Maloney Real Estate, Inc., for over 15 years. Maloney was just a baby when his father, James Maloney Sr., founded the family real estate company. Father and son are native Chicagoans and both men graduated from Loyola Academy High School in the northern suburb of Wilmette.
After high school, James Maloney Jr. enrolled in St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance in 1981, he went to work in the municipal bond industry. He first worked for Bank Northwest (now part of Wells Fargo) and then for Blunt Ellis & Loewi (later part of the Kemper Corporation).
James Maloney Jr. joined Maloney Real Estate in 1993 when his father retired. In 1995, he incorporated the business as Maloney Real Estate, Inc. Today, James Maloney Jr. is the President and sole owner of the company.
James Maloney Jr. does more for his community than simply managing property for Maloney Real Estate. With his wife and two daughters, he has lived in the same home in the Chicago suburbs for over 20 years. The family are active members of Saints Faith, Hope & Charity Catholic Parish, and James Maloney performs regular community service through the church as well as through Maloney Real Estate.
