William J Rock
William J. Rock, an Associate with the law firm of Block, Klukas & Manzella, P.C., is an accomplished trial lawyer, representing plaintiffs from the greater Chicago metropolitan area in lawsuits including personal injury, workers’ compensation, wrongful death, and premises liability. Admitted to the practice of law in 2009, Rock already has a number of litigation victories to his credit, including an $860 thousand jury verdict in a case filed in Will County involving catastrophic injury to a 49-year-old woman. Rock also maintains an appellate practice, currently serving as appellate counsel in two separate cases, in the First and Third Districts, respectively. William J. Rock began working at Block, Klukas & Manzella, P.C., in 2004 as a Law Clerk. After receiving his law degree from DePaul University’s College of Law in 2008 and gaining admission to practice in the federal and state courts of Illinois, William J. Rock became an Associate with the firm of Block, Klukas & Manzella in 2009. While at DePaul University College of Law, Rock served as a research assistant to a well-respected law professor and was honored by a current associate judge for excellent achievement in the subject of litigation. William J. Rock is a thorough and pragmatic legal advisor, sensitive to the financial and emotional stress that civil disputes can place on litigants. Rock does his best to keep his clients apprised of legal developments in a timely manner, in an effort to avoid any “last minute surprises.” William J. Rock also spends a significant amount of time developing and nurturing professional ties to the legal community, serving as a member of the Will County, Cook County, Illinois State, and Chicago Bar Associations. In addition, William J. Rock is an advocate with the American Association for Justice and a Fellow at Pound Civil Justice Institute.
