Butch Montano
An active member of The Santaluz Club, San Diego businessman Butch Montano has played a central role in the promotion of and member recruitment for the country club since 2003. As Club Ambassador for The Santaluz Club, Butch Montano represents the organization in its efforts to select and recruit new members, including CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, professional athletes, and other high-profile individuals and families. Among his many duties to The Santaluz Club, Butch Montano performs as a member of the tournament, handicap, nominating, and membership committees, along with a position as Incoming Chairman of the Golf Membership Committee. Aside from his responsibilities to this prestigious organization, Butch Montano serves as Principal and Chief Executive Officer of MFM, LLC in the San Diego region. With over 20 years in the mobile telecommunications industry, Butch Montano launched his career as a Sales Manager for Southwestern Bell Mobile Services, where from 1988 through 1992, he trained his efforts on markets in the Midwest. At the end of this period, Butch Montano founded Columbia Cellular, Inc., maintaining an exclusive partnership with Southwestern Bell Mobile Services in Missouri. From there, Butch Montano relocated to San Diego and established Digital PCS, Inc., a distributor of AT&T phones and service plans with a strong presence in San Diego, Seattle, and Las Vegas. A member of the San Diego Chamber of Commerce, Butch Montano remains current with the latest industry developments through his affiliations with the Consumer Electronic Association. Butch Montano lives and works in the greater San Diego metropolitan region.
