Robert Almeida
Dr. Robert Almeida is currently the President of two different chiropractor clinics: Almeida Chiropractic and Metropolitan Chiropractic, Inc. Dr. Almeida went to no less than nine colleges before he determined that his chiropractic training was complete. Starting with the Community College of Rhode Island, where he studied business, Dr. Robert Almeida earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Connecticut in the field of economics. Subsequently, he decided to move west to Los Angeles, where he attended a string of chiropractic institutions. From 1990 to 1994, he went to West Coast University, Pattern College, and Cleveland Chiropractic College, after which he was granted his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Robert Almeida started his chiropractic career in Whittier, California where he worked at Gillette Chiropractic, largely performing public relations operations in addition to chiropractic duties. From here, he continued on to Billauer Chiropractic in Maria Del Ray, California, for one year--from 1994 to 1995. From here he moved to Phoenix, Arizona for a year at Panda Rehabilitation Centers to be the Director of the clinic. In December of 1996, he moved back to the east coast to be the host of the WARA radio show “Trauma Talk” in Attleboro, Massachusetts. After Dr. Robert Almeida’s experience at WARA, he continued his chiropractic career as the Chief of Staff at Merolla Chiropractic in Bristol County, Massachusetts until December of 1998. After returning to school for about three years, he began the arduous yet fulfilling process of founding his own clinics. The first of these was Almeida & Kramer Chiropractic, Inc., and the last (where he is currently the president) was Metropolitan Chiropractic Inc, where he has been working since January of 2006. In his spare time, Dr. Robert Almeida enjoys exercising and spending time with his two children.
