LINDSAY GUION's BIOGRAPHY: Lindsay Guion is a born and bred native of the District of Columbia. Discovered by a talent scout, Mr. Guion, a former IBM employee, relocated to Los Angeles, California, after he signed with the Men’s division of Elite Model Management. Now, with over 10 years of service, Mr. Guion is constantly looking to elevate and re-invent himself in an industry that is always searching for the "next big thing." Mr. Guion is a shareholder at Guion Partners, Inc., a global management consultancy based in New York City. Mr. Guion got his start in the business during the nineties, working as special consultant at the Entertainment and Media Law Firm of Blanc, Williams, Johnston and Kronstead, LLP. From there, he segued to the talent management arena—where he discovered and developed the five-man R&B vocal group Badd Boyz of the Industry for A&M Records. Through his efforts, an alliance was made with director Mario Van Peoples for BBOTI to act and perform a song in the 1993 movie, Posse. Van Peoples, famed producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and Mr. Guion were co-executive producers of the A&M Records soundtrack. During the late-nineties, Mr. Guion launched his own music and marketing company, gMusic. His first act to spawn from the label was an R&B trio named Fade II Black. As an independent recording act, the group gained prominence at radio and music retail throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Mr. Guion also signed the talented jazz ensemble Pleasure Principal, a four-man group headed by renowned studio composer Joe Rubenstein, PhD. Mr. Guion is currently working to obtain a post-graduate degree at Harvard University. “I think it is important that we re-train ourselves because of the new technologies relevant to entertainment, media, technology and telecommunications. I decided to return to school so to sharpen my leadership, entrepreneurial and negotiating skill sets.” Mr. Guion’s entertainment, media, technology and telecommunications practice group offers a wide range of services to cover a variety of non-legal needs, including world-class management matters.
