With expertise in segmentation, targeted, and direct marketing, as well as building brands in multiple markets and delivering scale acquisitions, Andrew Lazenby has held key management positions in top global companies. Andrew Lazenby's resume includes impressive accomplishments at industry heavyweights such as Shell U.K. Limited and Shell Global, AOL (UK) Limited, Capital One (Europe) plc, Dell Inc. EMEA, and Affinion International Ltd. In increasingly demanding positions at these multinational firms, Andrew Lazenby expanded customer bases, negotiated major initiatives, developed recruitment strategies, and launched new products. As Vice President of Marketing at Affinion International Ltd., he managed a $28 million budget and held oversight for all European marketing. At Dell Inc., where he served as EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Consumer Marketing Director, Andrew Lazenby managed a $200 million budget and handled direct marketing initiatives in 13 countries. During his 12 years at Shell U.K. Limited and Shell Global, he utilized his expertise in customer relations management and direct marketing to introduce the petrol station convenience store concept in Oman. Andrew Lazenby also negotiated a major conversion of a BP station to a Shell station, acquired customer bases from competitors, and created strategies to build the brand in European markets. A frequent traveler for both business and pleasure, Andrew Lazenby has lived in Oman, the Netherlands, and South Africa, and visited more than a dozen other countries throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. During his travels, he pursues his interest in mountain climbing. Andrew Lazenby has reached the summits of all 283 Munros in the Scottish Highlands and participated in climbing expeditions to Tibet, Bavaria, and Norway. In addition, Andrew Lazenby scaled mountains in Oman and South Africa while residing there. Andrew Lazenby completed the Shell Marketing mini MBA program and additional training at Capital One (Europe) plc. At Jesus College, University of Oxford, he received a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science with a concentration in mechanical engineering. Able to speak French and German, Andrew Lazenby enjoys skiing, scuba diving, and sailing when not scaling mountains. Andrew Lazenby also takes pleasure in spending time with friends and family, playing bridge, and cooking.
