Experienced pilot and flight instructor Todd Newmahr currently serves as Lead Captain with JetFlite International. In his current professional duties, he flies the Bombardier Challenger 601 aircraft for international operations in Europe, Russia, and Asia. At JetFlite International, Todd Newmahr has taken on numerous other responsibilities, including collaborating on the development of specialized checklists for the cockpit crew (ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations), creation of international procedures, and establishment of company-wide pilot duties procedures. Additionally, he oversees test flights and inspection of new aircraft, passing on any potential issues to the appropriate managers. Todd Newmahr’s other day-to-day duties include reorganizing, labeling, and securing stock for aircraft, as well as regular cleaning and upkeep of the plane.
Prior to his position at JetFlite International, Todd Newmahr functioned as Assistant Chief Pilot at Tanre AV in Van Nuys, California. Along with special projects for the Chief Pilot, Mr. Newmahr assisted in flight planning, ordering supplies and catering from vendors, and setting up hotel and transportation accommodations for the crew. He worked with the company to find and address issues in aircraft operations manuals and aided in securing and updating a Cold Weather Operations Manual.
