Bruce R. Robinson
As the President and Chief Executive Officer of QuickStrategy Corporation, Bruce R. Robinson disseminates his knowledge of corporate planning and development to the senior management of companies throughout the United States. Bruce Robinson attained his in-depth understanding of the field through more than three decades at the head of successful businesses.
Bruce Robinson initially worked as an electronic engineer and engineering manager before opening his own company, Quality Measurement Systems, Inc., in 1974. Mr. Robinson expanded his company to make annual sales of $5 million before selling it in 1977 to EG&G, Inc., for $2.8 million in EG&G stock. He then became the Director of New Business Development for EG&G, a position he enjoyed until 1987. Over this duration, Bruce R. Robinson helped the New York Stock Exchange listed company achieve 4 divestitures and 22 acquisitions. He then became the Vice President of Corporate Development at UNC, Inc., where he remained for three years. In 1991, he became the President, Treasurer, and co-owner of KR Acquisitions. Through his work with KR Acquisitions, Bruce Robinson became the owner and Chairman of Gamma Scientific, and Belfort Instrument Corporation. Bruce Robinson spent 1994 to 2003 as the Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee for SCIENTECH, Inc. In 2003, Mr. Robinson became the Chairman for Utilipoint International, Inc., where he stayed until 2007.
To further round out his accomplishments, Bruce Robinson has authored two books. Strategic Acquisitions: A Guide to Growing and Enhancing the Value of Your Business was published in 1995, and QuickStrategy: A Proven Method to Focus and Guide Your Business in Rapidly Changing Markets was released in 2003. Mr. Robinson is a member of several professional organizations, including Tau Beta Pi, which is an engineering honor society; the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers; and the Association for Corporate Growth. He owns patents on a number of xerographic copier products and several measurement, weather, and ophthalmic tools. Bruce R. Robinson earned his BSEE and MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Mr. Robinson is an avid flier who holds an instrument rating to pilot multi-engine aircraft.
