Tim Rogers Pharmacy
Tim Rogers, RPh, has served as President of Advanced Specialty Pharmacy (ASP), since 2008, overseeing the sale and distribution of specialized IV sterile pharmacy product compounds. Earning a B.S. in Pharmacy in 1990 from the McWhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University in Birmingham, Tim Rogers undertook a pharmacy administration-focused residency at the Durham Regional Hospital in North Carolina. He subsequently performed Clinical Supervisor Pharmacist duties at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Tim Rogers, RPh, joined the pharmacy service sector in 1992 with Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. (CAPS), a firm focused on providing value through IV admixture outsourcing. Rising from his initial role into key managerial positions, he ultimately served as National Director of Quality Assurance and Business Development at CAPS. In this capacity, he strove to meet applicable state-level regulations, expanding markets and maintaining compliance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Good Manufacturing Practices. Tim Rogers, RPh, then accepted a position with Syncor International Corporation in 1999, after spending a year involved part-time in startup business venture Advanced Cardiac Solutions, PC. He took on key responsibilities with Syncor International Corporation, overseeing multiple pharmacies and employees as Director of Operations for the southeast region. When Cardinal Health Nuclear Pharmacy Services acquired Syncor, Tim Rogers, RPh, led the task of integrating operations on a regional level. His efforts as Regional Vice President/General Manager proved successful, with the region under his management posting high profits, growth rates, and levels of employee satisfaction. In 2005, Tim Rogers formed Advanced Home Medical Equipment, Inc., a company dedicated to meeting hospitals’ durable medical equipment needs. Three years later, Tim Rogers became President of ASP, a company providing IV sterile pharmacy products. In recognition of his dynamic entrepreneurial vision, he received the Birmingham Business Journal’s 2007 Top 40 under 40 Award. Serving on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Society of Health-System Pharmacists from 2007 to 2011, Tim Rogers was notably President of the Board in 2010. In his free time, he stays involved in the community through participation in charitable projects and events.
