A resourceful, hard-working student and an active member of her community, Brittany Kuecker moved from Florence, South Dakota, to attend college at South Dakota State University in Brookings. The university also offered Brittany Kuecker 147 fields of study and 217 student organizations from which to choose. Impressively, Brittany Kuecker has worked full-time while in college to help fund her studies. In addition, she belongs to Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, setting a good example for her peers. As a youth, Brittany Kuecker attended Sunday school on a regular basis and completed her Confirmation classes. She still maintains her connection to the Lutheran church in her hometown. During high school, Brittany Kuecker earned solid grades and excelled as part of the Oral Interpretation Program. As a leading participant, Brittany Kuecker often traveled to other schools to deliver presentations before audiences of fellow high school students. She lettered in this program all four years of school. Brittany Kuecker also participated on her high school’s gymnastics team.
