Steven Wengrover
A New York State resident since birth, Dr. Steven Wengrover maintains an excellent record of practice as a Radiologist. As a member of the American College of Radiology (ACR), Dr. Steven Wengrover involves himself with a network of 34,000 medical professionals across the United States. ACR accredited physicians such as Dr. Steven Wengrover are dedicated to providing the highest level of care to patients, in addition to spearheading innovative advancements in radiological medicine.
Dr. Steven Wengrover earned ACR board certification in 1982 while completing his residency in diagnostic radiology at New York Medical College (NYMC). Located in Westchester County, NYMC is widely recognized as a national leader in education, sponsoring one of the largest graduate-level medical programs in the country. During his time at NYMC, Dr. Steven Wengrover was selected as Chief Resident, which distinguished him as a highly capable practitioner in his field. Prior to undertaking his residency, Dr. Steven Wengrover completed an internal medicine and diagnostic radiology internship at NYMC.
Following a yearlong fellowship in cardiovascular radiology at the Weill Cornell Medical Center, part of New York Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Steven Wengrover began his professional practice as a partner at Newburgh Radiology Associates, P.C., also serving as an Attending Radiologist at Newburgh Hospital Center. Five years after joining Newburgh Radiology Associates, Dr. Steven Wengrover established his own private practice, Advanced Medical Imaging, P.C. For the next three years, Dr. Steven Wengrover adeptly managed an array of responsibilities, functioning as an Attending Radiologist at Newburgh Hospital Center in addition to his roles at Newburgh Radiology Associates and Advanced Medical Imaging.
In the following years, Dr. Steven Wengrover cared for patients at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, New York, at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, S&D Medical LLP in Bedford Hills, and White Plains Hospital Center. Dr. Steven Wengrover received his B.S. from the State University of New York at Albany, subsequently earning an M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx.
