My Sports Dreams
Since 2003, My Sports Dreams has raised more than $50 million in donations for 25,000 sports teams across the nation. Focusing on youth sports, as well as high school and two- and four-year college teams, My Sports Dreams strives to alleviate the stress fundraising places on busy coaches, athletes, and athletes? parents. Using a professionally designed process, My Sports Dreams requires no upfront investment. A flat $10 fee from each donation, regardless of how large, covers all expenses. No fees are assessed for donations under $25.
My Sports Dreams offers a complete package that makes the difficult task of fundraising far easier than outdated methods such as magazine or door-to-door product sales. My Sports Dreams personalizes every fundraising campaign by providing a four-page color sponsorship brochure and online digital version that tells the story of each team?s need for funds. This method ensures that the team will reach donors who care about the program. Working directly with an assigned campaign advisor, coaches and athletes provide a list of top supporters, including family and friends, to a secure site. The program provides a fast and easy process for donors to make credit card donations.
My Sports Dreams often collaborates with other agencies to provide resources to as many teams as possible. In 2010, My Sports Dreams became the official fundraising partner of Travel Champs, the online travel booking resource for event organizers and elite team coaches. The partnership will allow My Sports Dreams and Travel Champs to promote each other?s services. Another partnership developed with Restaurant.com allows donors access to $50 in free dining coupons if they donate $25 or more. Donors can also receive gift certificates to one of over 15,000 hotels through a partnership with Expedia.com. My Sports Dreams also became an official fundraising partner of SCHEDULESmith, an online communication system that allows coaches to operate their teams more efficiently by remaining in close touch with their athletes and team parents.
