Undergraduate Education of Lori Olexa Thorell
As a graduating high school senior, Lori Olexa Thorell knew she wanted to pursue a career in the sciences and therefore enrolled in Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, which had a strong science reputation. Lori Thorell began studying biology, and her love of the sciences began to grow and deepen. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996, and quickly found a job as a laboratory technician with Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Currently, Lori Olexa Thorell is still putting her biology education to good use, as she is working for a major company in the biotechnology industry.
