Jesse Willms, Chief Executive Officer of e-commerce company Terra Marketing Group, is known for his widespread generosity to charities worldwide.
Jesse Willms has contributed tens of thousands of dollars to a number of worthy causes, which he also promotes on his blog, www.jessewillms.com. Recently, he gave the Canadian Red Cross a donation to aid victims of the Slave Lake Forest Fire in Alberta. Concerned for the thousands of people who had lost their homes, Willms asked readers on his blog to do their part to help.
Willms also gave financial support to the Youth Emergency Shelter Society for an event that raised funds for children in need and gave people a chance to sleep outdoors for a night, helping them empathize with people who are homeless. Seeking to spur others to contribute to the charity, Willms described on his blog the struggles of teenagers in his community who are unable to receive government aid due to their age.
In addition, Jesse Willms donated to the Relay for Life, a Canadian Cancer Society fundraiser. Willms appreciates the organization’s message: fight back, celebrate, and remember those who have been affected by cancer. He publicized the efforts of the Canadian Cancer Society on his blog. He has promoted the efforts of numerous other charities, including the Convoy of Hope, a world-focused organization that raised funds for relief efforts following the tsunami in Japan.
Jesse Willms also was glad to aid the Winnifred Stewart Association with a donation. The organization was one of the first he supported. He commends the association’s hard work to prepare individuals with developmental disabilities to live on their own.
