Dr. Robert J. Wolf
Dr. Robert J. Wolf graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois with a B.S. in Psychology and Biology in 1987. He then attended Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, earning his M.D. in 1991. Three years later, Dr. Wolf finished his residency in internal medicine at Chicago's Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center. Before joining his first medical practice, he served an extra year as Chief Resident. His academic relationship with Rush Medical College continues to the present day through his service as Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Robert J. Wolf's private practice, Medical Care Specialists, Ltd., provides excellent medical care to all ages from young adults to seniors at its primary office location in Skokie, Illinois. Founded in 2000, Dr. Wolf and his two nurse practitioners treat a wide array of conditions tailored to the age of his patient. He enjoys addressing preventive health, nutrition and sports medicine, and uses innovative treatments for alcoholism, mental health conditions, and palliative care. Dr. Robert J. Wolf currently employs a staff of medical professionals, including two nurse practitioners. He affiliates with The North Shore University Health System, comprising Skokie, Evanston, Glenbrook, and Highland Park Hospitals. Dr. Wolf monitors his patients' care from hospital to rehab and back to home.
Dr. Robert J. Wolf is a member of The American College of Physicians, and was recertified in Internal Medicine in 2004. He contributes to a variety of charities, including Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and PAWS, and gives of his time and resources to other groups that help distressed animals. In his private life, Dr. Wolf swims, cross-trains and participates in triathlons. In addition, Dr. Wolf is a fluent speaker of Hungarian.
