Since 2005, InScribe, LLC, has delivered medical transcription, consultation, and support services to community medical centers and large corporate health care organizations alike. The origins of InScribe, LLC, date back to 2000 when founder Dani Lynch began offering her services as a dictation and transcription consultant to the medical industry. In this capacity, she worked with major hospitals in Georgia, Kentucky, and Tennessee. She focused on installing dictation and transcription systems, as well as providing training and oversight. One of her early corporate clients was Province Healthcare in Brentwood, Tennessee, where she designed a centralized system for dictation and transcription that covered 32 facilities, saving the corporation roughly $2.5 million annually.
Then, in 2006, one of Lynch’s corporate clients, Attentus Healthcare, requested a broader range of services beyond system design, providing the impetus for the remote medical transcription business known today as InScribe, LLC. Under the leadership of President Dani Lynch, InScribe, LLC, has continued to expand over the years and now offers online training through InScribe University, which prepares students for careers as transcriptionists in the medical industry.
As a leader in the area of speech recognition technology, InScribe, LLC, has developed a new type of speech recognition called "Echo Transcription." The system allows a medical transcriptionist to generate quality reports four times quicker than before and prevents physical conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome.
Today, InScribe, LLC, employs over 400 independent contractors and a full-time staff of 25, turning out more than 2 million lines of transcription every month. InScribe, LLC, also continues to advise clients on transcription and dictation systems. The company also offers a number of other services, such as repairing Dictaphones, on-site document scanning, EHR systems, speech recognition training, and support.
