For the past two decades, Juan Mancheno has made the most of the San Francisco Bay area that he calls home. As a real estate professional and entrepreneur, he has kept his housing market experience broad. In 1990, he established a position on the investment side of real estate with the launch of his own Bay Area real estate investment firm, Mancheno Enterprises, Inc. As CEO of the company, he oversaw the purchase and sale of more than 500 properties in the Bay Area and conducted contract negotiations and development with more than 20 subcontractors. He and his staff of 15 managed as many as 70 single-and multi-unit residential properties at once. After eight years as CEO of Mancheno Enterprises, Mr. Mancheno assumed the post of Branch Manager for Directors Financial Group, where he continues to act in a management and administrative capacity today. Mr. Mancheno is an expert in Federal Housing Authority and conventional financing, with a special focus upon programs for first-time buyers. Juan Mancheno kept his investment firm in the top 10% of California real estate sales for a decade and at the top of the national market for 5 years. He is a member in good standing of both the California and National Associations of REALTORS, the California Association of Mortgage Professionals, and the Sierra Club. Several nonprofits in his area benefit from Juan Mancheno’s generous contributions of time and financial support. He regularly donates to the Orinda Educational Foundation as well as to Melting Pot Communities. Melting Pot Communities seeks housing resources for multi-ethnic, low- and middle-income families and benefits from Juan Mancheno’s volunteer services as a consultant. In his free time, Mr. Mancheno educates himself on emerging green technologies as they apply to real estate development and construction.
