Dr. Sigsbee Duck
From his time as a bright and talented medical student to his years of private practice as an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist, Dr. Sigsbee Duck has committed himself to one thing: improving the health of his patients. A widely respected member of the medical community, Dr. Sigsbee Duck’s exceptional work in the field of Otolaryngologic medicine has earned him praise and distinction among his peers. Working most recently at Sagebrush Ear, Nose and Throat, a private practice founded in 1997 in Gillette, Wyoming, Dr. Sigsbee Duck has done tremendous work in enhancing the lives of his patients and the expectations of what a doctor should be. Earning his medical degree from East Carolina University, Dr. Sigsbee Duck’s considerable talents as a medical student led to his next position as an intern at the Kentucky Medical Center. Working in general surgery, Dr. Sigsbee Duck finished his internship in 1982, quickly moving into a position as a fulltime resident doctor in Otolaryngology at Emory University. During his residency, Dr. Sigsbee Duck proved his incredible potential as a young doctor and was made chief resident in his final year in the program. A highly motivated and eager student of medicine, Dr. Sigsbee Duck has never been the kind to sit back and relax in his success. Constantly seeking ways to improve the already high quality of care he shows his patients, Dr. Sigsbee Duck is a member of many important professional medical organizations including the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS), the American College of Surgeons, and the Triological Society. Chosen as 2007’s “Top Surgeon in America” for Otolaryngology by the Consumer’s Research Council of America, Dr. Sigsbee Duck’s high profile work continues to improve the lives of his patients after over 20 years of practice. Outside of medicine, Dr. Sigsbee Duck enjoys golfing, playing guitar, reading and supporting the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest University. An instrument rated pilot, Dr. Sigsbee Duck also greatly enjoys flying and has logged many hours in the air. Sigsbee Duck, M.D. sold his private practice, Sagebrush Ear, Nose and Throat, in July, 2008.
