Bill Ctibor

Professional educator and music teacher Bill Ctibor currently offers lessons in drum music at his residence in Gilbert, Arizona. With more than 30 years of experience in various sectors of the education industry, Bill Ctibor is well equipped to assist students with diverse needs in approaching the study of drum music and performance. Regardless of whether a particular student is attempting the drums for the first time or already has an intermediate to advanced grasp on the instrument, Mr. Ctibor offers customized and detailed lesson plans that allow students to pursue both their own interests and any of the areas in which Mr. Ctibor specializes. In the latter category, students may alternately choose to develop skills in the areas of orchestra or band music, trap set technique and soloing, and sight-reading traditional music notation. In addition to offering students his seasoned proficiency as gained through his experience as an educator in public schools, Bill Ctibor has also taught trap set technique for more than four decades and has also taught at the Linton-Milano Music Center. Musicians he has performed or recorded with include Terry Stafford, Barry White, The Rivingtons, Dick and Dee Dee, and The Rip Chords, among numerous others. Bill Ctibor holds a Master of Secondary Education degree from Arizona State University, where he continued on to complete more graduate hours than required. Additionally, he possesses a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Fullerton, and an Associate degree from Cerritos College, located in California. In addition to earning a number of certificates in various aspects of formal public education in both Arizona and California, Bill Ctibor has also earned such accolades as a Fulbright Scholarship to Japan, a Cuthbert-Douglas Scholarship to England, and the Freedom Foundation at Valley Forge medal. In 1986, he co-founded the Mesa Professional Educators group. Today, Mr. Ctibor continues to offer his experience in music education to students and supports various charitable organizations and activities in his local community. Some of these charities include the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Bishop’s Storehouse, the Boy Scouts of America, and the United Way Worldwide.
