Scott Theeringer

Scott Theeringer exercises sound judgment and prudent financial sense as the President of Mages Group, LLC, a Dallas, Texas-based general contracting firm that handles multi-million dollar projects such as major retail centers, elementary schools, and large commercial projects. A key member of the firm’s financial team, Mr. Theeringer holds executive responsibility for each project’s budget, from the initial estimate to the final profit margin. Under his aegis, the firm grew construction revenue by 1200% through increased efficiencies in the estimation and business development procedures. Another revenue stream, fee-based development, grew by 300% through his efforts to increase the department staff from three to seven. Scott Theeringer joined Mages Group in the fall of 2010.

Prior to joining Mages Group, Scott Theeringer spent three and a half years as the Vice President of Development and Construction at The Tritan Group, LLC, a construction firm based in Rancho Cucamonga, California. In this role, he held responsibility for managing all aspects of a project, including securing contracts, assisting with financing options, and serving as the liaison for all subcontractors. With up to 20 projects operating at various stages of completion, Mr. Theeringer displayed time-management skills, the ability to multi-task, and a keen eye for cost overruns or other potential operational risks that could derail a project. Developing commercial sites for national retailers like T-Mobile and Taco Bell, as well as multi-unit residential buildings and office buildings, Mr. Theeringer gained valuable experience that serves him in his present position.

Before joining the construction-management industry, Scott Theeringer operated as a loan officer for the real estate industry. He studied economics and finance before entering the private workforce. He holds membership with professional organizations such as the Dallas Real Estate Professionals and the Urban Land Institute.
