Carl Contino, MS PT
Possessing nearly 20 years of experience, Carl Contino, MS, PT, serves as the President and Director of Physical Therapy (DPT) at Premier Physical Therapy, P.C. He has been involved with the practice, which is located in Philadelphia, since 2010. Before assuming his current position, Carl Contino, MS, PT, held important roles in a number of physical therapy offices in the Philadelphia area. Between 2006 and 2010, he served as the President and DPT for Catalyst Physical Therapy & Wellness Center Inc. Prior to this, Mr. Contino spent four years as co-owner and DPT of Pro-Active Physical Therapy. From 1997 until 2003, he worked with Professional Physical Therapy Associates in the role of Chief Physical Therapist, and between 1992 and 2000, he served as a Consultant to Rising Sun Physical Therapy. Additionally, Mr. Contino has acted as a Staff Therapist and administered pre-employment screenings for Northeastern Hospital, and he spent five years as co-owner of the software development company MediGraph Software Inc.
Mr. Contino holds an Associate of Science in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University and both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Neumann University. He completed internships in Northeastern Hospital’s Physical Therapy Department and at Saint Agnes Hospital’s Physical Therapy Department and Burn Center. Carl Contino, MS, PT, holds membership in a number of professional organizations, including the American Physical Therapy Association, the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association, and the National Association of Disability Evaluating Professionals.
