Rosa Karanasos currently follows a number of pursuits that benefit not only her career, but also those of other American businesspeople of Greek heritage. A foundational aspect of Rosa Karanasos’s exceptional business acumen is her involvement with The Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce (HACC), an organization originally founded in 1947 to further the commercial exchange between the United States and Greece. In more than 60 years of existence, HACC has expanded its interests to include education, politics, and the arts. With a degree in business administration from SUNY Sullivan, Rosa Karanasos established a basis for her business ventures to follow. After completing her degree, Rosa Karanasos took a position as a Loan Officer for Olympic Home Mortgage, where she secured loans for people buying new residences. Following her time at Olympic Home Mortgage, Karanasos started her own mortgage firm, Hamilton Equity and Associates Corporation, where she served as a Mortgage Broker. Concurrently, she pursued part-time work as a Real Estate Sales Agent for Value Lane Realty. Rosa Karanasos’ customers agreed that they received professional, efficient service from her company.
