Brent Mekosh
Brent Mekosh, President of Mekosh Financial Services, brings an extraordinary and broad range of experiences to his work. A worldwide traveler and explorer, at one point, he spent almost an entire year of his life traveling the globe: exploring ancient ruins in Southeast Asia, motorcycling across the deserts of the American West, riding trains across India, and trekking across the African grasslands. This, coupled with his MBA in International Business and Finance from New York University and his decade of work on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, gives Brent Mekosh a unique edge in creating global investment platforms for his clients. Mr. Mekosh earned the Certified Estate Planner designation in 2010 and was recognized on the Forty Under 40 list in the Phoenix Business Journal. He also belongs to the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council and sits on the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations. Brent Mekosh’s professional education began in 1991 at Villanova University, where he studied finance before completing his degree in 1995 at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Upon graduation, he found a position at Bear Wagner Specialists LLC, where he served as Vice President of Financial Services until 2006. During his employment, he ran his division of the auction market with a cool head and calm professionalism and gained a reputation for providing deep and liquid markets. In 2007, Brent Mekosh founded Mekosh Financial Services, an institution dedicated to preserving the wealth of individuals and families with significant assets. Additionally, he sits on the Board of Governors for Opportunity International and serves as a sponsor of the Sharon India Foundation.
