Enrique Arevalo
Immigration attorney Enrique Arevalo holds expertise and a national reputation in such areas as citizenship, deportation, naturalization, the hiring of immigrants, and political asylum. His firm, the Law Office of Enrique Arevalo in Fullerton, California, has received three published decisions from the Ninth Court of Appeals and the U.S. Department of Justice Board of Immigration Appeals that impacted immigration case law nationally. Founded in 1984, the office includes six seasoned attorneys and five paralegals. During the labor relocation programs of the 1930s, U.S. authorities indirectly deported Enrique Arevalo’s father, a U.S. citizen, as a child. Enrique Arevalo immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 15. Fueled by his father’s experience, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History at California State University, Los Angeles. Upon completing a Juris Doctor at the Western State University College of Law, he set out to provide legal assistance to immigrants through his practice, and also through pro bono work. Enrique Arevalo shares his experience in immigration law on the radio, on television, and as a judge for Moot Court Competition at the Western State University College of Law. For his dedication and community service, he has garnered recognition from the Mexican American Bar Association, the Central American Resource Center, and La Voz de Michoacán newspaper in Mexico. The Radio & Television News Association of Southern California and the U.S. Department of Justice have also honored Enrique Arevalo. A member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the State Bar of Montana, the Mexican American Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Enrique Arevalo also belongs to the Western State University College of Law Alumni Association. Active in the community, he supports the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Southern California and sat on the Board of Directors of the White Memorial Medical Center Charitable Foundation for five years. Formerly a marathon runner, Enrique Arevalo remains active by skiing, hiking, and playing tennis and golf. He also enjoys reading, attending concerts, and watching foreign movies.
