Ronald Kochman
Throughout his 35 years as a practicing attorney in the states of New York and Florida, Ronald Kochman has provided expertise in trusts and estates to numerous businesses and individuals. In his early years as a lawyer, he worked with Kaye, Scholer, Fierman, Hays, & Handler. Later, he joined Schulte, Roth & Zabel, where he spent eight years as a Partner. Ronald Kochman also served as a Partner at Hodgson Russ LLP and Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP. Additionally, his work experience includes five years with the United States Trust Company of New York, where he served as both Vice President and Manager of the Estates and Trusts Department.
Currently, Ronald Kochman works as the Managing Member of the firm Kochman & Ziska PLC. In that capacity, he handles the planning and administration of trusts and estates and works with clients on real estate purchases. Furthermore, Mr. Kochman oversees the firm's daily operations.
From 1995 until 1997, Ronald Kochman was Co-chairman of the Attorney/Trust Officer Liaison Conference. Trusts and Estates and Palm Beach Illustrated have featured Ronald Kochman’s articles, which include “Ways to Accomplish Long Term Objectives in Medium Size Estates,” “Moving Is a Family Decision,” and “Protective Measures and Considerations in Litigation,” as well as “Are You Immune from a State Income Tax Audit?”
A member of the Trust Law Committee for the Florida Bar Association, Ronald Kochman has also served as the Co-chairman and Liaison with the Corporate Fiduciaries Committee. Ronald Kochman currently participates in the Development Committee for the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and the Planned Giving Committee of the Norton Museum of Art.
