Mark J. Reeves / C77 Studios
Mark J. Reeves holds a BS in Telecommunications Management and minor in Computer Science from Ithaca College, and was drawn to the business and technical aspects of the Internet 10 years ago, holding development positions on marketing teams serving Fortune 500 CPG clients as well as working for small businesses and services firms. He thrives on utilizing technology to bring marketing strategy and creative design to life on the web, empowering business analysts, content creators, designers, and end-users to fulfill successful online interactions. Mark currently focuses on expert front-end web development, using Web standards best practices to build sites that are accessible to both machines (search-engine friendly) and humans challenged by physical or economic limitations, as well as database design for content management and marketing platform systems. Unlike many developers, Mark sees technology as a means to an end rather than an end in itself. Before executing development work, Mark assesses the context of the project and the client's ultimate goals, providing online marketing consulting and planning. Having spent a good portion of his career developing sites using Microsoft technologies, Mark made the switch to the Mac and open source development within the past few years and hasn't looked back. (Except when he hops on Windows XP in Parallels to test in IE.) When he's not catching up on RSS feeds with the latest news from the web development and online marketing communities, Mark spends his time playing with his infant son, Jack, or working on renovations with wife Amie in their condo, a converted classroom in an 1870s school in Salem, Massachusetts.
