Lynn Rochelle
Philanthropically inclined, Lynn Rochelle spends a good deal of time participating in associations that seek to better her community of Tamarac, Florida. A former volunteer for Vanishing Species Wildlife and the Fern Forest Nature Center, Lynn Rochelle continues to support similar initiatives by assisting The Humane Society of the United States, the Tamarac Community Garden, and the Sawgrass Nature Center. Lynn Rochelle also aids Tamarac’s community center and donates to Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the American Cancer Society, Inc. Lynn Rochelle spent 21 years as a high school English teacher with Broward County Public Schools in Coral Springs, Florida. While enhancing the educational experience of her students, Lynn Rochelle taught personal values as well as academics. Prior to beginning her career, Lynn Rochelle earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Lamar State College of Technology, now known as Lamar University, while working three jobs. When not participating in charity or educational work, Lynn Rochelle enjoys photography, gardening, traveling, reading, and physical activities such as bicycling, volleyball, and jogging. Lynn Rochelle also spends time reading the works of her favorite authors, who include Tess Gerritsen, Truman Capote, Carlos Ruiz Zafón, and Harper Lee.
