Omar Abdo
Prosthodontics, the dental specialty of repairing, restoring, or reconstructing lost teeth and other oral tissue, is undergoing a revolution, thanks to advances in imaging technology, and Dr. Omar Abdo keeps himself on the leading edge of these developments. Recent innovations like digital X-rays and three dimensional imaging software allow prosthodontists like Dr. Abdo to develop a plan for patients with lost or missing teeth and craft treatments that will restore the patients’ smiles to what they should be.
Dr. Omar Abdo received advanced specialty training during his three-year residency, and he is the only board-certified prosthodontist in north and central Palm Beach County and Martin County. He is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and holds membership in several prestigious specialty groups, including the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodotics, The Academy Of Osseointegration, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Starting in private practice, as well as serving as Staff Prosthodontist from 2000 to 2005 at the Milwaukee Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Dr. Omar Abdo has always sought ways to improve access to his particular brand of dentistry. He founded the Jupiter Institute for Prosthodontics & Implant Dentistry in Jupiter, Florida, where he employs the latest technology and materials to give his patients the very best of care.
Dr. Omar Abdo hopes to expand his facility in the near future to include other dental specialists such as endodontists, periodontists, and orthodontists in order to provide a complete range of dental services all in one location.
