Kourtney Berkins
Kourtney Berkins holds an Associate of Arts in Business from Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas, where she also studied financial accounting. After graduation, Kourtney Berkins joined the American Airlines team as a flight attendant and distinguished herself through her excellent service, receiving a number of awards and recognitions. In 2002, she became a Customer Care Advocate with Sprint PCS and subsequently accepted a position as Policy Services Representative with Texas AGA, Inc. In this role, Kourtney Berkins oversaw marketing initiatives and held a range of administrative duties while also managing financial operations. After three years with Texas AGA, she became the Office Manager for Micrin Technologies Corporation, a manufacturer of electronic equipment for companies in the telecommunications and wireless industries. At Micrin Technologies, Kourtney Berkins managed a full range of duties, including overseeing accounts receivable, payroll, and sales taxes for the company. She also held responsibilities in personnel administration and employee benefits for more than 50 employees. Kourtney Berkins additionally supervised all daily financial operations, including cash flow, and met with buyers from other companies. Her corporation averaged annual revenues of around $10 million.
Outside of work, Kourtney Berkins is a voracious reader. She enjoys visiting local art museums and learning about art history. She remains dedicated to a healthy lifestyle and works out frequently. As often as possible, she spends quality time with her family and friends, understanding the importance of these relationships. Kourtney Berkins also maintains a passion for music and strives to learn about the variety of genres that exist today and their relationships to each other. She also donates to local charities, including the Hella Shrine and the Food Bank of North Texas.
