Khalid Zirvi
Since joining the clinical staff of Robinwood Heart Center, a branch of Padder Health Services, LLC, in 2005, Dr. Khalid Zirvi has offered patients with heart conditions the highest quality medical care and treatment. Dr. Zirvi gained his board certification in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, internal medicine, and nuclear cardiology. He maintains a particular interest in coronary and peripheral angioplasty.
In his current position at Robinwood Heart Center in Hagerstown, Maryland, Dr. Khalid Zirvi provides a wide variety of medical services for residents of the Tri-State area of Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. These services include the administration of anticoagulant medication, which helps prevent the formation of blood clots that can potentially lead to heart attacks and other ailments; cardiac catheterization procedures for the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of heart conditions; Holter monitors, and other cardiac event monitors; the administration of electrocardiographic (EKG or ECG) tests and stress tests; and the treatment of cardiac arrhythmia. Dr. Khalid Zirvi places particular emphasis on the role of patient education and preventive care in his practice, and he takes deep pride in improving the quality of life of every individual he sees.
Dr. Khalid Zirvi earned his medical degree from the MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine (now the Drexel University College of Medicine), where he graduated with distinction in 1998. Before joining Padder Health Services in 2005, Dr. Khalid Zirvi completed his residency in internal medicine at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical School at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). Dr. Khalid Zirvi also undertook an intensive training regimen in interventional cardiology during his fellowship at Lankeneau Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, part of the Thomas Jefferson University system.
