John Babun
An entrepreneur and construction professional, John Babun owns and operates two construction-related companies in Miami. Babun recently launched the home inspection company Building Integrity Consultants, LLC. Holding certification as a construction document technologist, general contractor, roofing contractor, and home inspector, he performs all types of home inspections, including traditional, wind mitigation, and four-point. John Babun actively participates with several professional groups to stay abreast of industry developments, including the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, the American Society of Home Inspectors, and the Building Envelope Science Institute.
John Babun also functions as the President and Chief Executive Officer of BBR Services Inc., a construction and waterproofing business he established in 2005. BBR Services offers a vast array of waterproofing solutions—from hurricane shutters and glass security film to caulking and concrete protection. Since starting the company, Babun has grown operations from $1 to $4 million. He maintains responsibility for all administrative and marketing duties, in addition to fostering relationships with industry professionals.
John Babun started his career in construction as a Manufacturers Distributor and Sales Representative with Coastal Construction Products, Inc. in 1996. After spending two years learning the business, Babun assumed responsibility as the Miami office Branch Manager through a series of promotions. In 2001, he took over as the Regional Manager for all of South Florida, achieving $23 million in sales before leaving to launch his own company.
John Babun attended Florida International University for his undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration, receiving honorable mention for his business plan. Before enrolling in college, he gained firsthand business experience as the Warehouse Manager for the Babun Shipping Corporation. He also performed research and documentation for several years with Cuba/USA Ventures, Inc.
