With an interest in historical preservation, Jeffrey Bussean keeps an eye out for potential venues. Jeffrey Bussean earned an award for his efforts in the renovation of the Patrick C. Haley Mansion, effectively saving it from demolition. Jeffrey Bussean and his company operate and coordinate events at three distinct and unique venues. The Patrick C. Haley Mansion, originally built in 1891 according to plans by architect Frank Shaver Allen in Joliet, Illinois, sits atop a hill overlooking the city. With an elegant limestone exterior and massive porches, the Mansion is an ideal setting for the weddings or parties coordinated by Jeffrey Bussean and his team. Jeffrey Bussean offers his clients the ability to host their events indoors, in the conservatory and ballroom that seat 400 guests, or outdoors, in the gorgeous Victorian gardens that feature two waterfalls and ponds. Another of Jeffrey Bussean’s venues, The Chateau Bu-Sché, also affords clients the ability to host a variety of events in a beautiful outdoor setting. With a foyer located alongside a creek complemented by roses and flowering gardens, The Chateau Bu-Sché also includes ceramic floors, an enormous fireplace, and a dining room with panoramic glass offering guests a view of the grounds and the atriums. Additionally, Jeffrey Bussean provides The Grant Ballroom at Joliet Union Station as another chic and sophisticated venue. Jeffrey Bussean maintains strong ties to the community through his involvement with the chambers of commerce in Joliet and Alsip. Musically inclined, Jeffrey Bussean serves as a Friend of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and a member of the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and he donates to both. Additionally, Jeffrey Bussean supports a variety of charities, including The Smile Train and the McCormick Foundation Hurricane Katrina Relief Campaign. In his free time, Jeffrey Bussean enjoys playing chess, exploring photography, cooking, and playing the guitar and the violin.
