Gene Eaddy

Throughout his career as a developer and IT professional, Gene Eaddy applied his design and programing skills to a variety of industries, including telecom, finance, and software engineering. With over a decade of professional work to his name, Eaddy is a masterful designer with experience creating oriented components and Internet-based systems. Currently, Gene Eaddy serves as the Senior Software Developer at TACC Consulting Inc. A Microsoft Certified Solution and Applications Developer, Gene Eaddy supervises the creation of new software and web applications, as well as the training and mentoring of new team members. Prior to his work with TACC Consulting Inc., Gene Eaddy held a number of computer programming and consulting positions in the Atlanta area. From 2000 to 2003, Eaddy worked as a Senior Software Developer for Retx.Com, Inc. At Retx.Com, Inc., he used C# and VB.NET assemblies and components to design web applications that measured electricity usage. During this time, Eaddy also helped create a companywide time entry and activity reporting system with Active Server Pages (ASP) with VB.COM components. After leaving Retx.Com, Inc., Gene Eaddy served as the Senior Software Developer at MTS Technologies, Inc., where he created business intelligence applications using SSIS and MS SQL Server 2005. After establishing his professional reputation, Gene Eaddy applied his talents to philanthropy and created IT Biz Support Services in 2003. As the founder of this charitable organization, Gene Eaddy shares his professional insights and provides basic programming assistance and software development, as well as general business strategy and accounting advice, for local businesses in the Atlanta area. An enthusiastic learner, Gene Eaddy graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a degree in accounting and economics, all while working a fulltime job at Fidelity Brokerage Services LLC. In his free time, Gene Eaddy enjoys reading, gardening, cycling, and playing basketball. An L.A. Fitness member and advocate of sustainability, his favorite authors are Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr., Henry David Thoreau, and Jules Verne.
