Cole Buchman
Cole Buchman received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Maryland in 1991. A member of the school’s Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, Cole Buchman also participated in the Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society. Cole Buchman has experienced success in both the real estate and information technology (IT) industries. He founded and cofounded three businesses in the last decade: KnewVantage, Tar Heel Realty, and SouthPoint Realty. During his career, Cole Buchman has gained knowledge in business automation and intelligence; database administration; direct marketing; real estate sales; business intelligence software; Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP) software; Statistical Analysis System (SAS) software; customer resource management (CRM); customer relations; and marketing. Cole Buchman designed and developed Cumulus, a real estate software application. Cole Buchman acquired extensive experience in indirect and direct IT sales throughout his years of working; his sales amounted to almost $9 million during a three-year period with MicroStrategy, Inc. As the Vice President of Strategic Solutions for Quaero Solutions Group, Cole Buchman received credit for 40 percent of the company’s revenue in 2003, bringing in more than $3 million dollars in business. His success extended to his realty firms, Tar Heel and SouthPoint realties, which recorded over $45 million in sales from 2005 to 2008 with agents scoring the highest transactions per agent in the region during 2005 through 2007. Cole Buchman credits his in-depth knowledge of CRM as a factor in his real estate success. With the expertise he acquired working at KnewVantage and through Salesforce.com, Inc., Cole Buchman customized a complex real estate software application precisely to his companies’ needs, thus improving both leads and sales. Cole Buchman currently serves in sales for ClickEquations, Inc., where he closed that company’s largest deal to date in September of 2010.
