With both a degree and professional experience in clinical psychology, Jacquelyn Plagesse calls on physicians, hospital staff, and other health care professionals on a regular basis to promote the drugs Suboxone and Subutex. Jacquelyn Plagesse also provides clients in her sales territory with the latest information and approved indications of the Schedule III narcotics, which many physicians now prescribe to patients undergoing treatment for opioid addiction.
Since joining the international pharmaceuticals company in 2006, Jacquelyn Plagesse has consistently exceeded quarterly sales targets, achieving a 60% increase in sales during one 6-month period. In her previous position, Jacquelyn Plagesse counseled acutely ill children and adolescents at Yale-New Haven Hospital. As part of a multidisciplinary team, Ms. Plagesse educated patients and their families about various treatments and prognoses, providing young patients with strategies and tools to cope with their illness.
Although Jacquelyn Plagesse devotes many hours to her career, she still finds it important to help animals and those in need through community service and donations. Jacquelyn Plagesse is proud to have saved a female Bengal tiger’s life by financially “adopting” her through Tiger Haven, Inc. In addition, Jacquelyn Plagesse donates to World Wildlife Fund, Environmental Defense Fund, and the Connecticut Humane Society. For three years, Ms. Plagesse worked as a respite provider for children with autism, and she volunteers for her local soup kitchen and animal shelter.
