Dr. Kimberly Frank

Dr. Kimberly Frank utilizes more than 25 years of medical training and experience in psychiatry to treat patients in the Aurora Behavioral Health system in Wisconsin. Dr. Frank focuses on conditions that affect children and adolescents, such as anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and autism spectrum disorders. She employs an integrated biopsychosocial approach to her treatment plans, which are created in conjunction with the patient, his or her family, and the school system. To stay current with developments in the field, Dr. Kimberly Frank belongs to the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the Wisconsin Psychiatric Association. She is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is board certified in both adult and child and adolescent psychiatry.

Prior to joining Aurora Behavioral Health, Dr. Kimberly Frank spent 10 years treating patients in an assortment of clinical settings, including inpatient and outpatient mental health clinics, adoption clinics, and partial hospitalization programs. Dr. Frank also spent time as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

A native of Wisconsin, Dr. Kimberly Frank attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she earned her B.A. in Zoology. Dr. Frank excelled in the program, gaining admittance to Phi Eta Sigma and accolades on the dean’s list. Following graduation, she obtained her M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin and subsequently underwent postdoctoral training at Creighton University/University of Nebraska. Following an internship and residency in psychiatry, Dr. Kimberly Frank completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry, during which time she garnered the Outstanding Fellow Award and acted as Chief Fellow.
