Since his career began more than 40 years ago, author and CEO Deaver Brown has written and published over 15 e-books, 60 audio books, and 50 software programs. With many popular titles such as the Tom Walker mystery series, Deaver Brown's work appears across many popular electronic platforms such as Amazon's Kindle and Audible.com, as well as Apple's iBookstore, and on the www.simplymagazine.com site itself. Deaver Brown's titles are also available through Apple's iTunes store, allowing users with Apple devices such as the iPhone to enjoy his work. Especially interested in historical accounts, Deaver Brown majored in history at Harvard College. He earned his degree with Magna Cum Laude honors and continued his education at Harvard Business School receiving an MBA with an emphasis in marketing and business. Years later, Brown sought to stay ahead of the technological curve by learning more about website design and publishing. Enrolling at Stanford University, Deaver Brown studied web design and received a certificate in the program. Today, Deaver Brown works as publisher and COO for Simply Magazine, publisher of numerous e-books and audio books. Featuring approximately 206 titles, Simply Magazine offers books for all interests, many of which were written by Brown. Additionally, Simply Magazine sells software packages to address user needs. Deaver Brown expanded his writing repertoire to include software skills and wrote numerous programs sold by Simply Magazine. Before joining Simply Magazine and increasing revenue by 12 times the amount recorded in 1997, Deaver Brown held several other prominent positions. Specifically, Brown worked in Product Management at General Foods, helped lead Cross River as Co-Founder and Co-CEO, served as President of his consulting group, Deaver Brown & Associates, and joined American Power Conversion (APCC) as the company's debut Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
