Emphasizing the importance of team-building, Savio Thattil directed teams spanning America, Europe, and Asia. While improving the functionality of the eCommerce division and lowering development costs, he also exceeded goals for customer satisfaction. More than 15 years IT experience in designing, developing, and implementing applications and 8 years’ experience in delivery management have provided Savio Thattil with the credentials of a progressive, successful leader in the field of eCommerce. With a strong background in providing solutions to industries such as pharmaceuticals, retail, aviation, and electronics manufacturing, Savio Thattil has assisted businesses in increasing sales and product delivery through the fast and inexpensive use of eCommerce. Thattil spent his early years moving up the ranks of major corporations like Oracle Corporation, developing teams of leaders both in the United States and abroad to secure the company’s delivery of product. At Oracle, he helped to found two development teams and led development of the firm’s iStore. After being named in 2006 as Wal-Mart’s Director of Technology, Savio Thattil built the entire eCommerce global team for the mega-store, hired its first offshore engineer, and executed an offshore strategy. His accomplishments helped Wal-Mart to slash development costs and to optimize call centers and store delivery, thereby saving the company millions of dollars.
