David Zarett
With years of professional experience at his disposal, David Zarett is an expert in all aspects of real estate management and development. Most recently working as the Director of Development for Zarett Properties, David Zarett has led the way on a number of important real estate ventures in Seattle and the surrounding area. An intelligent businessman, David Zarett has always shown an impressive ability to work comfortably with architects and builders to enhance the value of his properties. One project of considerable achievement for David Zarett and Zarett Properties was the successful purchase, renovation, and lease of the Cobalt building in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood. Another notable success for David Zarett was negotiating the lease and construction of Starbucks Coffee Company’s northwest regional headquarters. However, David Zarett is notable for more than his real estate ventures. A committed member of the Seattle community, David Zarett has provided considerable monetary and voluntary support for numerous charitable organizations. Among the philanthropic causes David Zarett supports is Camp Korey at Carnation Farm, a summer camp for children suffering from serious illnesses. Additionally, Zarett supports the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Doctors Without Borders. Earning his Bachelor of Science degree in business from Southern Oregon State University in Ashland, Oregon, David Zarett was both a good student and an active part of the University’s community. Enjoying a diverse range of activities, David Zarett was a member of the school’s Travel Society, Music Appreciation Club, and Hiking Club. An avid reader, David Zarett cites Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged” and “The Fountainhead,” as well as George Orwell’s “1984,” as particular favorites.
