Charles Humble
Charles Humble has led an exciting and adventurous life. He attended high school abroad in Orleans, France and returned to the United States in 1965 upon graduating. Humble then joined the military where he served as an instructor for the 6th Army’s Committee Group. Humble climbed the ranks to Sergeant and served well until he was honorably discharged in 1968. After returning home to Indianapolis, Humble joined the Indianapolis Police Dept. Charles Humble served for 5 years and during his time with the P.D. he received the Commendation for Outstanding Devotion to Duty from the Mayor. Humble’s experience with the military and police force showed him the great necessity for accurate truth verification technology. Equipped with the idea, Humble was able to execute an effective plan with the assistance of his educational background. He attended Indiana University where he majored in Psychology and minored in Criminology. Humble’s familiarity with an earlier truth verification system, the Psychological Stress Evaluator, allowed him to work with law enforcement agencies, private businesses, and prosecutors. However, Humble eventually moved on to bigger and better things. Charles Humble founded the National Institute of Truth Verification (NITV) in 1986 and worked on an invention of his, the Computer Stress Voice Analyzer (CVSA). The CVSA debuted in 1988 and was a huge success. The CVSA has now been integrated into over 1,800 law enforcement agencies across the country, and even bigger and better things can be expected from the CVSA II, the latest project from the NITV and for which Humble was awarded a patent.
