Bud Turner
Alabama State Bar member Bud Turner possesses more than 20 years of legal experience. At his law firm, based out of Anniston, Alabama, Mr. Turner offers a wide variety of legal services to clients, including those related to personal injury and wrongful death claims, substance abuse violations, divorce, child custody, and juvenile dependency. In addition, Mr. Turner practices probate law, taking on clients with issues related to estates, adoption, deeds, wills, and trusts. Bud Turner currently acts as Judge at Piedmont Municipal Court in conjunction with his career as an attorney, having previously served as Judge at the 7th Judicial Circuit in Anniston for six years. He obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1985 from the Samford University Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, after procuring graduate degrees in religion and divinity. Formerly a Minister of Youth at three different Baptist churches in Alabama as well as at Christ Church United Methodist in Louisville, Kentucky, Bud Turner now supports Golden Springs Baptist Church by co-teaching Sunday School classes and participating in Carpenters for Christ activities. Outside of representing clients in the courtroom and presiding over cases, Bud Turner enjoys jogging, playing tennis and basketball, and reading. He holds a membership in Anniston’s Noon Rotary Club and donates his time to the West Anniston Foundation. Among the charities he supports are the American Cancer Society, Inc.; United Way Worldwide; and Empty Stocking, Inc.
