The co-founder of BHC Construction Company, Robert Jafari created the firm in 2007. Specializing in commercial projects, such as nursing homes, general corporate construction, dental offices, and residential properties, Robert Jafari operates using a distinct business model. With design-build methods that reduce costs and lessen the time required to complete projects, Robert Jafari streamlines the system by overlapping the design and construction phases and directly involves a client throughout the process.

Robert Jafari and the team at BHC Construction Company created a $14 million office complex with 6 medical office buildings on nearly 8 acres in Naperville, Illinois. Currently, Robert Jafari manages a number of projects, including the completion of a hospice on the Naperville site, expected in early 2011, and the renovation of 75 rooms in 3 different nursing homes, accompanied by cafeteria upgrades. As with his other projects, he utilizes the “Culture Change” process in this endeavor. This shift of design model seeks to establish a more home-like atmosphere in these nursing facilities to change the paradigm of the institutions.

Robert Jafari possesses significant experience in managing the construction of nursing homes. After beginning his career more than 20 years ago with the establishment of Butterfield Health Care Group in Bolingbrook, Robert Jafari initiated the building of a 107,000 square foot nursing home valued at $12 million. As the company grew, he began construction on additional medical facilities, including one with 55,000 square feet of office space and a surgical center. Later on, Robert Jafari started the Meadowbrook Manor group of nursing homes. Dispersed over several areas in Illinois, Robert Jafari’s network of Meadowbrook Manor elder care facilities provides treatment to hundreds of residents in Bolingbrook, Naperville, and LaGrange. Robert Jafari and the team at BHC currently facilitate the construction of another branch in Geneva.
