An experienced operations management executive, Patricia Collantes spent 15 years with Morgan Stanley-Smith Barney, Inc., in Palo Alto, California. In her time with the financial services firm, Patricia Collantes held positions of increasing responsibility in the field of operations management. Beginning as an Assistant Operations Manager in 1996, she later served as a Senior Assistant Operations Manager.

In the area of expense management, Patricia Collantes instituted changes that reduced overtime by 75 percent within six months. She achieved this by improving staff training and creating coaching and mentoring programs. When it became necessary to restructure and reorganize staff after a series of consolidations, she successfully saved the company more than $250,000 while maintaining employee morale.
