Malikah Kelly
A fashion professional with extensive experience both in the United States and abroad, Malikah Kelly launched her career after completing her undergraduate education at Pace University in Pleasantville, New York, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology and Human Relations.
Immediately after graduating, Malikah Kelly joined Style Weekly and Beautifile.com as a Senior Online Editor, a position she maintained until 2010. In this professional role, she generated content for two style- and beauty-oriented websites, including trend reports, product reviews, and industry news. Malikah Kelly also performed site maintenance and helped up-and-coming designers promote themselves through various social media outlets.
To complement her editorial endeavors, Malikah Kelly accepted a concurrent position with Giorgio Armani as a freelance Market Associate in 2008. During her tenure with Armani, Ms. Kelly collaborated with account executives to facilitate the marketing and distribution of Armani Collezioni men’s products. She also filled purchase orders and line sheets to ensure the timely arrival of orders from major retailers like Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, and several small boutiques.
Intending to increase her knowledge of financial strategy and marketing in the fashion industry, Malikah Kelly enrolled at the Alma Graduate School at Italy’s University of Bologna, from which she graduated in 2011 with an MBA in design, fashion, and luxury goods. Today, Malikah Kelly holds the title of Business Manager at Neima Sitawi Luxury Boutique Fashion, a company based in Bologna. Her successful exploits include creating an international brand-awareness campaign and contributing to numerous sales and marketing efforts in countries throughout Europe.
