Software pioneer Davis Blumentals possesses considerable experience in computing and risk management, and he draws on that expertise to lead two companies. In addition to acting as Managing Director of Wanchai, Hong Kong-based Touchmark Solutions Limited, Blumentals holds the same role at RISK360 Solutions Pty Ltd, which operates out of headquarters in Bowral, Australia. Davis Blumentals leads the firm in developing technological products and solutions for financial services professionals.
Davis Blumentals and RISK360 Solutions utilize Microsoft frameworks to create stand-alone programs or add-ons that improve workflow, track changes in data, take advantage of dashboards, and interface with popular offerings such as Office and Outlook. One option, RISK360 Enterprise, allows corporations to manage risk and compliance with regard to business operations and financial structures by collecting and centralizing all incidents and other related data. Before co-founding his current companies, Davis Blumentals headed another venture, DBA Limited, through which he created the original e-commerce platform used by insurance agencies. Later, he launched the Genius MasterSeries for Windows operating systems. Designed to streamline various aspects of human resources, including payroll, his platform enjoyed popularity among thousands of businesses in his native Australia. Three years later, he created Atura, which had several applications in industries such as tourism, real estate, and insurance.
One of Australian Computer Society's first members, Davis Blumentals studied Computer Programming at The University of Adelaide. In his leisure time, he enjoys sailing.
