Bonnie Elliott
I have my M.A. in Communication Management from USC. I graduated with 3.89 GPA in December of 2000. I have been managing websites for Questex Media Group, a business to business publishing company, since 2005. While working for Questex I managed 31 websites for their technology group. This involved keeping sites up to date, adding content to article detail pages, updating and creating static pages, updating navigations and toolbars, creating forms within the sites & assisting in strategy to increase traffic to sites. In addition, I managed the process of merging three websites (www.gpsworld.com, www.geospatial-online.com, www.sensorsmag.com) to a vertical structure (turning 3 sites into 25 sites): acted as liaison between publisher, sales reps, designers, and CMS team to keep the project on target and implemented the entire structure for each site (navigation, toolbars, article pages, static pages, ad components, etc.) In April of 2006 I left Questex as a full-time employee and started doing freelance work for them. My freelance tasks mainly involved weekly and monthly e-newsletters that I updated and sent out via Lyris List Manager. Now that Questex no longer has the budget for freelancers, they have pulled all of my work in-house. I am now looking for any freelance work that is out there.
