Will Rosellini is a multi-talented young man with impressive academic and professional records. During his high school years, Will Rosellini was a member of the Silver Medal Junior Olympic Team in Baseball. After graduating from Jesuit College Preparatory school, Will was ranked as the #17 high school prospect in the country. He was a member of the Bronze Medal Junior Olympic Team for USA and Rosellini received a full scholarship from Vanderbilt University as a right-handed pitcher. He later transferred to Oklahoma State University where he was a member of the 1999 College World Series team. In 2000, the Arizona Diamondbacks drafted Will Rosellini in the 16th round. Will Rosellini’s expansive knowledge in Business Administration, Accounting, Computational Biology, and Neuroscience acquired through various degrees give him the skills and know-how to lead MicroTransponder, Inc. Rosellini founded MicroTransponder in 2007, an early stage medical device company where he serves as CEO. The Dallas-based company seeks to commercialize wireless neurostimulation solutions as part of treatments for patients with chronic pain and other neurological conditions. The latest device Will Rosellini's company is developing is 100 times smaller than neurostimulators already on the market and will be injectable via a hypodermic needle. Biocompatible and relying only on wireless signals, the device has the ability to stimulate peripheral nerves in the patient's nervous system and help modulate various neurological signals. To date, Will Rosellini has led MicroTransponder through rigorous evaluations that have earned $2.2M funding from state, federal, and venture capital sources.
