Vanilla Visa

Designed as an easy, quick gift that almost anyone would be happy to receive, the Vanilla Visa Gift Card is accepted at any restaurants, businesses, and retail stores that take Visa debit cards, currently millions of locations throughout the United States. At the time of purchase, the purchaser of a Vanilla Visa Gift Card specifies the amount to be attached to the account, from $20-$500 or set denominations of $25, $50, or $100.

A Vanilla Visa Gift Card allows for nearly as many different options as a gift of cash while providing more security. If the card is stolen, Vanilla Visa can quickly cancel the account and then issue a replacement card, carrying the remaining balance. In order to get the full value of Vanilla Visa’s security systems, card users are asked to immediately write their name on the back of the card and to record their card number.

Activated by the cashier at time of purchase, each card is its own account, so it is impossible to combine the balances of two Vanilla Visa Gift Cards, transfer funds from one to another, or be reloaded.

A Vanilla Visa Gift Card can also be used to cover some of the regular expenses of daily life. For instance, the card is accepted as many gas stations around America. The automatic tellers at some gas stations will decline a card that does not have at least $75 available, as they do not know how much gas will be pumped. Vanilla Visa recommends prepaying at a gas station clerk's register.

Another product from Vanilla, the Vanilla Visa Reward Card, is designed specifically for use in employee inventive or reward programs, corporate competitions, and customer promotions. Like the Gift Card, Vanilla Visa’s Reward Card is prepaid and is accepted at all of the same establishments.
