About Tonya Quester:
Tonya Quester currently brings more than two decades worth of expertise in healthcare industry sales and marketing to Response Genetics, Inc. Since joining the company in August of 2009, Tonya Quester has helped lead operations as the Mid Atlantic Sales Manager. From 1989 until 1996, Tonya Quester refined her skills as a medical sales and marketing representative.
Ms. Quester worked for Independence Blue Cross Keystone Health Plan East in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and with Marion Merrell Dow, Inc. Experienced in taking charge of accounts with a variety of clients, Tonya Quester supported allergists, primary care physicians, cardiologists, and others. At Marion Merrell Dow, she consistently performed beyond the requirements set before her, achieving more than 100 percent of her portfolio objectives in 1990 through 1992. At Independence Blue Cross, Tonya Quester proved her particular talent for client-relations development, closing the company’s largest new account just three months after taking up her position.
From 1996 until 2009, Tonya Quester served the medical industry through positions at GlaxoSmithKline in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While working as a Senior Executive Sales Representative, she led her 36 peers as the top ranked sales representative in the region. The promotions she championed for anti-infective, cardiovascular, and anti-inflammatory therapeutics increased the overall sales in each area.
While working as a Senior Oncology Account Manager, Ms. Quester increased sales of Tykerb and Hycamtin to many of her accounts, including those to radiation oncologists, oncologists, and nurses. During her time at GlaxoSmithKline, Tonya Quester rose consistently through the company’s ranked tiers. She achieved the Gold Tier Award in 1997, the Diamond Tier Award in 1998, the Emerald Tier Award in 2005, and the Platinum Tier Award in 2007.
